Dressing for the holiday season can get a bit overwhelming. All the parties, gatherings and various events can get pretty hectic. The snow has fallen here but it has still been unseasonably warm. So I, along with the rest of my fellow Edmontonians, have managed to wear lighter layers longer than usual. Having a great coat that you can wear from day to night, from work to play, makes the holiday bustle a tad bit easier…and more stylish, too! I got this beautiful duster coat for my birthday from my wonderful mom and I absolutely love it. What’s a duster, you ask? Well, the name just refers to the length basically…almost dusting the floor. This one from Anthropologie in particular, is oh so soft, a gorgeous understated grey and perfect for layering over any holiday attire! I love that it can look really relaxed over jeans and a sweater (like my look today!) or effortlessly chic over a shift or cocktail dress when zipping out to a Christmas party!
