Fall Front Entry

When designing your front entry, it’s always important to consider the style of your entire home. You want people to get a taste of what’s to come after they leave the front entry. I also put a lot of thought into how I can change my entryway with the seasons. This year for fall, I decided to take some of these adorable gourds (that were only $3 at Superstore for a bunch) and give them a quick spray with some of my leftover paint from past jobs. It worked out that the spray paint dripped through the gourds natural indents to create a pretty pattern. No carving, pumpkin guts or mess here!fall front entry

Instead of flowers, I also took some fallen branches and sprayed them with a light coat of silvery gold and placed them in a vase. I think I’ll probably grab some more to give the vase a bit of a fuller look. fall front entry

I love my glass lamp from HomeSense and my stacked, coverless books…oh and of course, my Autumn candle has the perfect scent to welcome my guests. I think the combo makes for a perfect fall front entry! Fall Front EntryWhat do you think?? Do you change your front entry to reflect the season?Fall front entry

  • I think you are doing a fantastic job. (is that a piece of my pottery on the table?)
The branches in the vase remind me of Grandma – she used to do the same thing
in a huge crock and put it on the front step( with ornaments at Christmas time).
    Nana would love it!
