Renovation Update

We are getting sooooo close to finishing this Forest Heights Flip…and we are getting crazy excited about it (can we move in please?!). It really is turning out better than we could have imagined. So here is our last update before we show you the finished project from top to bottom.

A huge transformation has happened in the living room with the new hardwood floors and fireplace overhaul. Renovation Update - Fireplace

We decided on some beautiful marble tile at Lowe’s for the surround and then a darker charcoal on the hearth. Love the contrast! Now to finish and grout.

Renovation Update - Tiling

The bathroom is almost done. We laid the floor tiles in a herringbone pattern and then chose simple subway tiles for the shower and coming up the walls of the space. A little added feature was the gorgeous white mosaic tile in the shower. Love this!

Renovation Update - Kitchen The kitchen!!

Renovation Update - Kitchen Tile

I’m kind of obsessed with this kitchen…and it isn’t even done! Ryan started laying the hexagon marble tiles the other day and we agreed that taking them up to the ceiling here behind the hood fan would look amazing. Once the appliances arrive, the lighting comes in and the Quartz countertop (we chose a Pewter Grey) gets installed, this kitchen will be a show stopper. A dream kitchen for me.

Three pendants will hang above the sink as well. I want them to be visually unobtrusive, stylish and still give off some good task lighting. I love these ones from Beacon Lighting.

And finally, we have made some amazing progress outside thanks to Brendon’s landscapers.

Renovation Update - New Deck

The deck got repainted a soft grey and we completely tore out all the old sod.

Renovation Update - ExteriorWe got brand new siding up and even added some adorable plants! Black mulch adds such a great contrast – the green of the shrubs really pops!

So there you have it! Our last renovation update before we finish and get this baby on the market. What are your thoughts?? All renos are done by my amazing man and his company Revive Contracting. Check them out!
