Guess what came in the mail again everyone?!…the IKEA catalogue! I’m probably not the only one who still get’s excited for this day…there’s just something so fulfilling about sitting down and going through it cover to cover right?! The 2019 edition seems paired down and clean, with dark and cozy images teasing us with some beautiful items. They’ve even included a section detailing the return of some old favourites in celebration of IKEA’s 75th anniversary, which is great! I love diving into the Ikea vault and taking some inspiration from the retro collections. I know I’m not alone in having some tried and true favourites, right?!
Speaking of favourites…I do have a few new items that are inspiring me – from the prettiest rattan pendants and beautiful textured vases to simple textiles and modern storage solutions. There is literally something for everyone to get excited about – part of the reason why it’s always such a bustling place. Affordable, smart and design savvy…Here are just a few items that you may want to snag before they’re gone for good!
This GRADVIS pot is giving me all the texture vibes with its etched line detail – so good! And I got very excited when I saw this gold detailed watering can! So cute! | Ikea has launched quite a few new throws that are all fantastic but I especially love the softness of this one | Honestly, the lighting just keeps getting better and better at Ikea. The INDUSTRIELL pendant is a woven beauty AND it can be collapsed down for a different shape. Hello 2 in 1! And I also love the simplicity of the RIGGAD task lamp (which also doubles as a charger!) | I’m always on the hunt for good staples when it comes to styling and this set of black and ivory bowls is perfect | Love some good storage, especially when it’s rattan! | A simple striped area rug jumped into my cart for our front entry…and I love it! | Is there a thing as too many pillows? Didn’t think so…check out this one | And lastly, my absolute favourite accent chair from the INDUSTRIELL line.
