Today I’m Talking: Yeg Bloggers

yeg bloggersLast weekend I attended the Poppy Barley party hosted by local bloggers 204 Park, and I had an amazing time. Not only was I inspired by the gorgeous new shop on Whyte Ave., but I was so happy to be surrounded by so many talented individuals, meeting many online friends for the first time! Yeg bloggers are really starting to come together!

Besides dabbling in a cocktail or two made by the incredible Liz (seriously she was a magician!!), we eyed up the gorgeous footwear, took photos by the balloon backdrop and accomplished a little leather DIY tray – that thankfully wasn’t too hard for most of us!!

With my ladies Nicole Ashley & Behind the Blush

Being at this event got me thinking…

I am so thrilled to see such a great community of lovely ladies springing up here in Edmonton. I think it is so incredible to have women (and men!) doing what they love and finding creative outlets to channel their passion. Blogging has grown into such a huge world and it is oftentimes really overwhelming trying to navigate the foreign territory; but, having a growing blogging community here in Edmonton leaves me feeling really grateful and proud! I was so excited to spend the day with some of these like-minded individuals and it left me in anticipation for the next time I get to sip delicious drinks, laugh over a botched DIY and inspire each other with our stories and advice.

A big thank you to 204 Park for including me!!yeg bloggers
