Today I’m talking about one of my happiest places just steps from my front door, our ravine.
The best part about the ravine is that the second you descend the hill it feels like you are miles away from the city. At this time of the year the leaves have really started to change and of course litter the ground. I love the briskness in the air and how I get to see the sun start to set as I stroll with the pups in the early evening.
When we adopted our dogs, we discovered that the lower level is all off leash and so, much to their delight, we take Shya and Ava down there almost every day. For the past two years, I have loved seeing our dogs grow up down here. I have loved watching them play, seeing their personalities emerge and witnessing their immense joy. 
When we go together, it’s the perfect time for Ryan and I to spend time with one another and talk about our days, our plans, our goals. 
This small part of my day is full of happiness.
