Keeping a Clean House

In my efforts to have a simpler, better organized home in the new year (see my declutterring post here!), I have also set a goal of keeping it a whole lot tidier too. I actually love taking a Sunday to get it all bright & shiny and our house is pretty clean for the most part (I mean as clean as it can be with two dogs!). But we still tend to struggle with the day to day mess. It is a goal for me to actually take care of all of the dishes instead of leaving a few around here or there, to organize my mess of papers on the kitchen table, or to take that extra 2 minutes and tidy up my makeup and hair items in the bathroom before jetting off for the day. I’ve been better this past month, actively working on keeping a clean house, and it feels great.
