Seeing Stripes

Not long ago, I realized my wardrobe was taking on a lot of stripes. Even looking at my Pinterest Style Board, it’s clear I love them. But the good thing about my mild obsession is that stripes are always a classic option and really versatile when it comes to style.

One spring/summer trend we saw this year was mixing prints and I loved seeing stripes paired with a floral print.

Even though my summer uniform usually consists of a longer skirt like a maxi or midi, I couldn’t resist this shorter, striped number from The Latest Scoop while shopping in Vancouver. I love this piece because it can easily transition from day to night and is perfect for summer, as well as, the streets of Quebec City…

Seeing StripesAs much as I love mixing the bold prints, I decided to make my floral addition a soft, pastel clutch. My new ankle, cutout boots make their blog debut and I am sure you will be seeing them again in the future! I’m loving how many outfits they can be paired with already.

CutOut BootsI almost always wear a piece of jewelry that means something…here I have my vintage ring given to me by my Nana, as well as, my vintage pearl earrings, and the watch Ryan surprised me with on our trip to LA. Wearing items like these make any outfit more special.
