Swept Away

SweptPlanning a wedding is never an easy task. With venues to book, vendors to coordinate, and what seems like an infinite amount of decisions to be made, it can feel very overwhelming. But it can be a lot of fun too! I got especially excited for my own wedding planning when I attended the Swept Bridal Experience with my dear friends Nicole and Stefanie. I had never been to a bridal show before, but this first time event seemed right up my alley. Some of Edmonton’s best vendors set up in the river valley at our beautiful Royal Glenora Club and inspired us brides in rooms like the inspiration, the sweet and the beauty room. There was even a groom’s room!logo

In the inspiration room, we chatted with Jordan from Atmosphere Weddings and drooled over some gorgeous bouquets by Janine from FaBLOOMosityWedding Florals

We loved the soft, white textures of this set up and the gorgeous new lighting fixtures in the club’s main dining room.

Nicole and Stef make a pretty cute couple on that aisle wouldn’t you agree!

Wedding Inspired

Every table was a show stopper! It was hard to choose a favourite but, you know me, I’m always pulled towards white!

In the sweet room, we sampled some delicious cake and filled our paper bags with some treats for later! We absolutely loved the pink, cream and gold combination! Lindsey at Love Inc. and Ann at Style Cakes were about as sweet as their yummy desserts.

Sweets

And we couldn’t miss out on the beauty room where we stood in awe of this show stopping floral dress. How fun!

Beauty

Some beautiful wedding dresses caught our eye…Lace? Yes please!

All in all, the event was wonderfully put together. It felt intimate, charming and modern, which is exactly how most brides want the day of their event to feel. Talking to the vendors and seeing the gorgeous displays gave me some great inspiration for our day! Well done Swept! Now, let the planning begin!
