We have been surrounded by construction all summer long and yes, it is frustrating. There have been numerous times where I have vented to Ryan about the constant noise, inconvenience, blah blah blah. This morning, however, I saw a woman have a full blown meltdown at the lady trying to direct traffic. As she was wildly screaming, pointing and cursing, I thought to myself: 1. she clearly hasn’t had her morning coffee yet and 2. coffee or no, what right does anyone have to yell at someone like that! After she sped away, I unrolled my window and told the lady, who was freezing her butt off and probably could REALLY USE a coffee, she was doing a great job. She was clearly shaken from the incident but smiled and thanked me, saying it’s nice to hear that for a change. I drove away feeling a little happier…and then dropped some Nutella on my grey pants.
