Summer Wedding Style: 3 Guest Looks

3 Wedding Looks

I love going to weddings!! Especially in the summer with the beautiful weather (or rain)! So my Behind the Blush cohorts and I had a great time pulling together 3 simple summer wedding looks for guests ready to get down with the wedding festivities.

Casual Cocktail Attire

I absolutely love this casual look – perfect for an evening cocktail ceremony or even an afternoon backyard service. It’s not overly fancy but still classy and the chunkier heel won’t poke through the grass outside. I completed the look with a gorgeous Hunt Amor necklace!

Beach

It’s not often I get to go to a beach wedding (hence why I am standing on grass 🙂 ) but I love when I do. Maxi dresses work perfect for this type of wedding, which is great for the pocket book because there are so many affordable options. I got this one at the Gap Outlet in our city and I love that it has a bit of a nautical feel. Then of course, adding a loose side braid completes the relaxed beachy vibe. You’ll get to see this wonderful video tutorial from Stef soon!

Semiformal attire

In most cases, I go the semi-formal route when attending a wedding in our lovely city. I stumbled on this lace navy dress at Express, having never gone in the store. I liked the detail AND it was on sale! Janna and Stef helped me achieve a more glamorous look – which is great because I would have never been able to do an up-do with my short hair.
