I have long been a fan of West Elm. Just ask anyone who knows me…I have been wishing for one of these beautiful stores to open in my neck of the woods for a looooong time. I have actually only ever been inside West Elm once, at the Vancouver location a few summers ago. I remember the trip well…I left with a gorgeous hand towel, a shower curtain that is still hanging in my bathroom to this day and two beautiful, handmade pillow cases. Unfortunately, the pillow cases didn’t make it for the long haul…my darling Ava went through a terrible two faze and liked to destroy pillows any chance she got. I came home to my beloved West Elm pillows scattered across my living room…AAHHHHH, the memory still haunts me!! Tears were shed, I can tell you! Anyway, my time has finally come to revisit an old favourite. I’m taking a trip down to Calgary to visit my friends…and of course, the new West Elm. Excited doesn’t begin to cover it because here are some of the smaller items I am coveting.
A new Mirror for our front entry would be great! | We have one door in our house that constantly closes (and traps the dogs), so this Geo Doorstop would be helpful (and it helps that it’s pretty too) | A new Bath Rug to pick up on my white and grey colour palette in the main bathroom | This Rug has always been a favourite of mine | A white and gold Mini Lamp? Perfect height for our living room so it doesn’t obstruct views | I would love to redo the lighting in our bedroom and this Sconce fits the bill | I mean, can you really go wrong with a Pouf or two in your life? | My favourite animal. This Horse Artwork is everything | I like this square Marble & Wood Object as a book stop | Marble Decorative Objects for the office…or anywhere really – marble rocks!
And so…I’m off! West Elm awaits!!
