It’s no secret that textiles are pretty important in a space. The right pillow combination can really steal the show. In trying to finalize our master bedroom makeover, I’ve been scouring shops for the right toss pillows for our bed. I quickly noticed that almost everything I’d been pinning included African MudCloth. Now, MudCloth fabric has been around for awhile, but it seems like designers are gravitating towards it even more nowadays.
Personally, I love the graphic lines, simplicity and, of course, the sleek black and white combo. Modern MudCloth pillows are trendy but, more importantly, gorgeous! When paired with modern furnishings, or even used as upholstery fabric, MudCloth is understated. But, a rock star nonetheless. So, I decided to round up some of my favourite pillows that utilize this fabric fabulously. A lot of these are from some of the best Etsy shops I’ve found recently like Maewoven, MINImalist and Danielle Oakey Shop. I’ve also included some stellar cushions from faves like Studio Matsalla, Shoppe by Amber Interiors, The Woven Home and Studio McGee’s shop.
