Friday Favourites 0.11

I know what you’re thinking. Wow, Kristina hasn’t done a Friday Favourites post in ages!! And yes, you are very right about that. I’ll admit it’s hard to set aside time for a post like this when life is so busy. And let me tell ya, life is BUSY right now! In a good way of course…no complaining here! But, I did feel compelled today to share a few home decor items that are on my favourites list. Maybe it’s because I am sick and tired of winter, or because Ryan and I have been talking about making some changes in our master bedroom, but I am drawn to everything light and airy right now. Are you with me? Here’s a few things I’ve found that I’m loving…(PS – you can click directly on the picture to shop! Woo!)

/ one / One of the article’s I wrote for the Everygirl (that hasn’t gone live yet), was a version of the quintessential “get the look” post. And we were trying to replicate a gorgeous Amber Interiors bedroom (one of my faves). This rattan chair is the perfect easy breezy bedroom addition, very similar to one you’d see in an AI bedroom design…I would drape my clothes over this no problem lol

/ two / I am still so in love with Jack’s blanket that I nabbed from Anthropologie almost two years ago. This one is really similar. I love the layered look and lovely textures. It’s the kind of blanket that looks cozy but still delicate for spring.

/ three / Speaking of textures, I’ve been obsessing over light fixtures in non typical materials. So anything in fabrics, rattan or jute for instance. This pendant has such a perfect shape and scale too…I could put this in ten different spots in my house!

/ four / I’ve posted about Clare’s gorgeous paintings off of Etsy before. She’s known for having pretty portraits, but I do love this abstract piece. The colours are so soothing.

/ five / This vintage inspired rug reminded me of one of my current favourites from Target that I’ve had in my shop section before. I love the subtlety of the colours and patterns. It’s just enough detail.

/ six / I’ve been sourcing a lot of accent pillows in some of our e-design clients designs and I always come back to this simple striped one. It’s such a good basic pillow that mixes so well with other patterns and colours. Staple!!

Happy Friday everyone!
