The Top 10 Spring One Room Challenge Reveals

I’m sure most people visiting this blog would be familiar with the One Room Challenge, but just in case, here’s a quick recap. Two times a year, featured designers and guest participants have 6 weeks to makeover a space in their home, bringing all of us along for the ride with each week’s instalment before the big reveal. I did it exactly one year ago with our shared bath and laundry room and it was such a great experience. I do have plans to participate again (the next round perhaps!!), but this spring season I was merely an eager viewer, following along week by week.

Now that the final room reveals have been shared, I thought it would be fun to do a round up of some of my favourite One Room Challenge spaces from this season. So if you haven’t had a chance to peruse all the pretty decor and savvy design choices then you are in luck because these are (in no particular order) my top ten and they are pretty darn great!!

Natasha Habermann’s Living Room and Foyer

The Top 10 Spring One Room Challenge Reveals

Doing one room is hard enough in 6 weeks, taking on two is downright crazy! And yet Natasha pulled it off brilliantly. Her space is classic and subtle, with the right amount of colour and texture. Though I loved the dramatic tones she chose in the foyer, it was the fireplace that stole the show for me. Nothing was overdone and the styling was beautifully executed.

Erin of Apartment 34’s Toddler Room

The Top 10 Spring One Room Challenge RevealsWhat I loved about this space was that I could absolutely picture my own son having a space just like this. The colour scheme was simple but done in an interesting way with half painted doors and unique patterns in unexpected places. Plus, I definitely appreciate how every piece was chosen with care – they are timeless selections that can grow with her son. Love it!

Vanessa Francis’ BathroomThe Top 10 Spring One Room Challenge Reveals

As soon as I saw the tile choices in this bathroom I had no choice but to include it. Vanessa designed the space for her daughter but with such gorgeous details this bathroom could be perfect for anyone. She went with such timeless materials and then had some fun with the finishing touches, like the vibrant floral shower curtain. Such a great job!!

Kelly of Hartley Home’s Laundry Room
The Top 10 Spring One Room Challenge Reveals

I love me a good laundry space, not going to lie! And what impressed me the most with Kelly’s room reveal is that she did so much in such a small space. I love the wallpaper, the artwork and all the perfectly styled finishing touches. You would definitely catch me doing all the laundry here.

Nicole of Vestige Home’s NurseryThe Top 10 Spring One Room Challenge Reveals

Ok, I’m going on the record!! This nursery is definitely going to be pinned a lot! Talk about designing the perfect space for a baby, no matter the gender, to grow into! I love literally everything about this space…the soft colour palette, the wood tones, the built ins, the artwork…everything. And don’t even get me started on those walls…!!!

Lindi of Love Create Celebrate’s Entryway The Top 10 Spring One Room Challenge Reveals

I’d like to think that if I had chosen our front entry last spring, it would have looked like this…even just a little! Lindi checked off so many boxes for me. The feature wall is stunning and dynamic and in such a bold colour, it really steals the show. And then after you take that in, you notice some of the subtler details. I love the caged pendant, the wall planters, the modern door…it all works so well.

Emily of the Sweet Beast’s BedroomThe Top 10 Spring One Room Challenge Reveals

Holy these photos!! Before I even talk about Emily’s bedroom design, I just have to say how stunning her photos are. The colours just pop! Ok, now the reveal…even though I am not one to go big with colour, I absolutely love this bedroom. The hues and tones work so well together and I could definitely picture myself here. Her layout is smart and her styling is on point!

Sarah of Room for Tuesday’s Laundry RoomThe Top 10 Spring One Room Challenge Reveals

One more laundry room made my list and I know you’ll agree with this one, especially when you see how ingeniously she incorporated her dogs into the design. The storage and organization is fantastic, the tile is fun and the lighting is perfection. But for me, again, it’s that tile. I absolutely love the clean marble mosaic! My vote is that Sarah gets to be a featured designer next go around…who’s with me?!

Jessica Devlin’s Living RoomThe Top 10 Spring One Room Challenge Reveals

If I didn’t click and see the name at the top of the post, I probably would have thought this was an Amber Interiors space. Jessica, you absolutely stole the show with this living room design. It is clean, comforting and so classic. The built ins are beautiful and I love that she kept the shelves styled minimally. I also love ALL the furniture choices…ok moving in now.

Ashley of The Gold Hive’s BedroomThe Top 10 Spring One Room Challenge Reveals

Last but certainly not least (because shhhh this one is my FAVOURITE!), is Ashley’s master bedroom. I was so excited to see that she got to be a featured designer because I absolutely loved her living room reveal last time. Ok, this space…she completely changed the layout (removing a doorway) and added some seriously beautiful board & batten. Not to mention her perfect furniture choices that looked collective yet cohesive and some killer styling to boot. Love it all!

If you spent some time going through my list OR the other 200 and something participants, any favourites?!?! I’d love to hear!
